It's the time of year that everyone starts talking about transitioning into fall, as if summer isn't short enough. Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy cape weather and not sweating off my makeup, but I love the casual vibe and impromptu pool parties that summer brings. However, if we must look towards fall, let's ease in with these exuberant blooms. Bold enough for fall, outdoorsy enough enough for summer, and most importantly, gorgeous.
You could also go the more temporary route and create an arrangement like this one I put together last week, with lots of greenery and a mix of pale pinks and deep, almost black reds.
I, for one, am already thinking about adding some framed wallpaper panels and china to my home. I especially love Ellie Cashman's bold prints and Kelly Wearstler's gilded tea set. These blooms will last well past August.
Welcome! I'm Arielle, and this is Scotch & Nonsense. Whether you've come for the home projects, the recipes, or the cocktails, I'm thrilled you're here and I hope you'll stay a bit.
