Back to the bourbon. A Boulevardier is a happy marriage between a Manhattan and a Negroni, and it's a perfect way to end a twelve hour workday (ugh). Three cheers for bourbon, Campari, and vermouth, and the kind bartenders who mix them.
1 ounce bourbon (or rye)
1 ounce sweet vermouth
1 ounce Campari
Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and stir to combine and chill. Strain into a glass and garnish with orange twist.
