If you're a regular reader here (you're the best!), then you may have noticed that I've cut way back on blogging in recent months. Now you know why. I spent my first trimester feeling fine but utterly exhausted, and looking at computer and phone screens has been especially draining. I needed to cut back on something, and since my work and day-to-day life activities aren't exactly optional, I cut back on blogging. I'm finally starting to feel more like myself these days, and with some newfound energy I'm excited to get back into blogging and this crazy new endeavor.
So now that that's out of the way, who's ready to check out some nursery inspiration?
I have half a mind to paint a mural as an alternative to the wallpaper. My mom painted a mural in my nursery (assorted Disney princesses and fairies, thankyouverymuch), so it feels right to me. We'll see how my energy levels align with that particular endeavor.
This room will hold many firsts, but as far as the blog is concerned, it will be the first room that I share the process of decorating. Most of the rooms I've shared here have been finished or mostly-finished by the time I photograph them. Not so here. I don't know what this process will look like quite yet, but it will probably include plenty of inspiration posts, hopefully a few DIY projects, and some potential waffling. I may hold a few surprises back for the final reveal, because it's no fun if you know everything in advance. We've got all winter to work on it (I hope!), but with holiday chaos coming up I want to get a head start on things.
That is, whenever I have the energy.
