Enter the Triple Stamp Press Grandville series. Be still my heart.
I happened upon this local company the other day and fell hard for these illustrations. So hard that I had to run out to Manchester right away to buy a couple. I wanted enough to fill a wall in the library, but my bank account and my sensibilities are happy with two at the moment: The Duelist and The Medical Student. The saturated colors, the vintage look, and the slight oddball quality are speaking to me in a major way. In fact, I'm feeling downright inspired to get back to work on this room.
So let's talk inspiration.
So, I'll be working on this room over the holidays and hope to report back soon with a proper tour. After living with a few of the wrong pieces for a while, I'm determined to only bring in items that I love. That's easier said than done, but seeing how great the Grandville prints look in their new home only validates that plan.
Do you have any house projects that have been sitting unfinished? And are you inspired to get back to them, or unmotivated like I was? And are you feeling moody and saturated decor this season, or hankering after light and bright?
