2 ounces good quality Scotch (I'm using the super tasty Kilchoman Machir Bay today. You don't have to use a single malt Islay in this cocktail, but why would you own a bottle of anything else?)
1 ounce quinquina if you've got it, or sweet vermouth if you don't
Dash angostura bitters
Lemon or orange peel, for garnish (optional)
Add ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir to combine, and strain into a cocktail glass.
