I love the collected look a gallery wall gives to a space. I also love that it takes the pressure off finding the one perfect piece in the perfect size, and allows you instead to mix and match old favorites and new finds. That said, not all gallery walls are created equal, so let's check out some walls done right.
Monochrome art keeps the gallery wall at Dwell Studio cohesive, and some 3-D pieces keep it interesting.
Even a small wall deserves attention.
Loving the gold frames against a black wall.
The gallery wall to end all gallery walls. Philip Mitchell designed this stairway for the 2015 Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse. It was amazing. Sometimes all you need for a perfect gallery wall is a go big or go home attitude. And a killer staircase doesn't hurt.
