I've been wanting to snag some photos of my friend's nursery for a while now, and this weekend we finally got together for brunch and a little photo shoot of her adorable daughter Isla and her amazing nursery.
There's no lack of color here, and I love it. The walls are Farrow and Ball Pink Sand, which is the color I used in my bathroom. It's a soft blush pink, and it's the perfect base for the brighter pinks, oranges, and purples used throughout the room. The painting above Isla's crib was painted at her baby shower. Every guest painted a flower, and now she and her parents have it as a lovely reminder of the friends and family who got together to celebrate her.
Obviously this room wouldn't be complete without a bit of gold.
It's hard to pick a favorite piece here, but I have a serious love for the bullfighter print. The colors are perfect and I can't lie - I want his outfit.
This girl. So friggin' cute. And how great is this rug?
Isla's outfit coordinates with her nursery, natch.
The art in this nursery is generally pretty great. It's colorful and joyful and great for a baby without being baby-specific.
So what do you think? A room doesn't get much happier than this, does it?
Shoes. Good for wearing, great for eating.
Welcome! I'm Arielle, and this is Scotch & Nonsense. Whether you've come for the home projects, the recipes, or the cocktails, I'm thrilled you're here and I hope you'll stay a bit.
