My design career got off to a rocky start when as a child, I was repeatedly punished for drawing on my bedroom walls. Fortunately, my parents encouraged me to draw pretty much anywhere else (on paper). Now I get to draw for a living, and I am very lucky indeed.
After graduating from the College of Charleston, and then studying at Maryland Institute College of Art, I moved to Richmond, Virginia. Over the years, I've acquired two ridiculous dogs, one tuxedo cat, a handsome husband, a taste for Islay scotch, and very recently, a 150 year old house in Church Hill.
